John
Midavaine is Senior Consultant at Micro Contamination Consulting, a firm he
started in 1989. He has over 25 years of extensive experience in clean
processes and product contamination and micro contamination control.
Mr.
Midavaine applies his expertise and experience in contamination control methods
and disciplines to implement an effective and extensive Contamination Control
Program (CCP), to prevent contamination of critical surfaces and achieve device
performance related cleanliness goals.
The overall CCP developed is based on the performance
goals of the product, and specifics of design, fabrication, assembly,
integration, testing, packaging, and transportation criteria to prevent the
probability of critical surface contamination.
Contamination removal from critical surfaces is an important
part of the overall CCP. Mr. Midavaine applies ulstrasonic, megasonic,
and liquid carbon dioxide cleaning as a critical part of the CCP to remove
deposited contamination from critical surfaces. He has developed and
designed systems involving these increasing product yields, and reduction in
overall costs and holds patents for cleaning systems, particularly in the area
of CO2 cleaning applications.
